Project
IS Employee Benefits Classic administer the application VELO concerning Group Life Insurance. This business is constant impacted by new laws, new business products of improvements of the application for end users. These impacts result in projects between 50 mandays and more than 2.000 mandays… always to be realised in challenging timing. VELO team is organised in several groups administering Plans, Processes, Calculations,… and has more than 50 people.
Required knowledge and experience
Technical Designer
- Personal skills
*Mandatory: Communicative
Collaborative
Can work in an environment with standards and rules
- Business experience required
*Preferable: Basic insurance business is an advantage
- Technical experience required
*Mandatory: Cobol and DB2 knowledge
Objective of the job
The Technical Designer will be integrated in an existent VELO group. In a first time, they will learn business by doing some programming and/or some maintenance with coaching of experimented people.
The goal is, after a few weeks or months to be more autonomous and to be able to take in charge more complex programming, testing and technical problems.

Location : Brussels
Languages : French and Dutch.
Start date : ASAP
Duration : 1 year extendable
